Commercial Property Manager - MSC
Charlottesville, VA - Full-Time Position
Essential Job Functions for this position include:
Full responsibility for management of numerous commercial properties in Charlottesville, Lovingston, Farmville and other locations
Review of all monthly income statements and general ledgers; review work order detail reports; corrections
Write monthly management reports; handle all owner communications
Manage and coordinate all maintenance subcontractor functions, including contract negotiations
Perform regular written property inspections
Oversee insurance reporting and coverage requirements
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up manuals outlining specifications, contacts, contracts, and procedures for each property
Preparation of annual budgets
Meet with potential new customers; draft new business proposals; perform cost analysis
Continual pursuit of more efficient and cost effective operations for all properties
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements:
College Degree
Strong facilities management experience preferred
Ability to multi-task with strong administrative and organizational skills
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Real estate license helpful, but not required
Must be able to pass criminal history and drug test
